This month I gave up on a lot of books I started, and only finished these:
Among the 14 books (!) I read this month, I had a good number of favorites: The Condition, No One You Know, The Help, The Rose of Sebastopol and The Last Bachelor. I found Kristin Chenoweth's book quite enjoyable, but I wish it had more details in parts.

Perhaps tomorrow I'll have time to go through all the books I read this year and choose my faves for 2008. But for today, here's what I read in December:
Here's what my $7 bought me at the library today (they were having a book sale):
I think I got a pretty excellent deal, don't you? I've read The Inheritance of Loss and Petropolis already, but not the others. The Far Pavilions has been on my wishlist for about a year. What's strange is that the library doesn't have that novel available for checkout, but I was still able to get it there anyway.
But as I finished the last page, I groaned. I really expected more from Robinson - I remember liking her Gilead very much.
Overall, a disappointing read.
I included Robinson's Home, but I'm actually still working on that one.
